Peoria, IL | June 12, 2017 - Roger "Ironman" Rebholz is taking charge in the UMP Super Late Model division at Peoria Speedway. Leading the local points after several top five finishes in the past few weeks, Rebholz dominated the feature Saturday night in the Team Dirt Dog / Ace Auto Parts / CJ Signs # 10. Starting on the pole, Roger took the lead into turn one and never looked back. Back in a Larry Shaw car this year after several years in a different manufacturer, the team was stoked with the win.
To make the victory even sweeter, Rebholz had just climbed out of the # 110 Team Dirt Dog UMP Modified in which he finished a very respectable 6th after breaking the right front A-frame while in 3rd place with four laps to go.#dirtdoggin !!
In victory lane after the Late Model A-Main, Peoria Speedway announcer Mike Jones asked Roger if he was worn out. The 51 year old smiled and said, "Let's go again!" Now you know why they call him "Ironman".
Be sure to stop by their souvenir ten in the grandstands to say hi to Beth and grab some Dirt Dog Gear to support their team. All proceeds go directly to G&R Racing!.
