ALMOST! G&R Racing- Roger Rebholz Keeps Getting Closer to 1st UMP Modified Win of 2017 ~ Grabs 2nd at Peoria Speedway

Peoria, IL | June 27, 2017 - As a previous track champion in the Modified division, Team Dirt Dog's Roger Rebholz knows what it takes to get to the front. Even after taking several seasons off from the Mods to focus on his UMP Super Late Model program, the 51 year old Sparland, IL racer is showing great speed back in a Modified this year. Chasing championships in two divisions is tough, but the "Ironman" has been steadily climbing the top ten each week in the Mod and already has one feature win in the Late Model.
The Late Models had the night off last weekend which allowed the G&R team to focus on setting up the Mod and catch up on repairing the damage inflicted on the Late Model the week prior during the UMP Summer Nationals. Modified points leader Mike Chasteen Jr. (# 40) took the Mod A-Main victory Saturday night leaving Rebholz (# 110) to battle Dan Dozard (# 17D) for the 2nd spot. Roger prevailed, moving him up to 7th in the points. Charley Hess, Noah Faw, Derick Doerr, Dan Dozard and Donovan Lodge fill out 2nd through 6th in the points.
