THE MACDONALD BROTHERS ARE COMING FOR WINTERSLAM!
Sydney, AU | June 6, 2017 - Definite dark horses in this Saturday night's Modified Sedan Winterslam are the MacDonald brothers out of Toowoomba.
Shane Macdonald began his speedway career in 1998 as a passenger for his father, Lindsay Macdonald in A Grade. He started driving A Grade in 2000 and later built a Modified Production Sedan and began to race it in 2007.
Shane’s peak achievements in his Modified Sedans Career have been:
2 x Queensland Titles (2009 and 2013)
First in the inaugural Australian Open at Maryborough Speedway (2009)
Third in the Queensland Title in Gympie (2010)
Fifth in the Australian Modified Sedan Title at Latrobe in Tasmania (2010)
Fifth in the Queensland Title at Charlton Raceway (2011)
First in the Sugar City Modified Sedan Stampede at Mackay (2013)
Fourth in the Western Australian Title at Ellenbrook Western Australia (2014)
Third in the Carnival of Flowers cup at Towowoomba Speedway (2013)
Fourth in the Kings Royal at Kingaroy (2014)
Second in the Cannonball Cup at Archerfield (2014)

Second in the T-Bar 50 at Toowoomba Speedway (2015)
Nathan Macdonald began his speedway career, sitting in the passenger seat for his brother Shane in 2000 while they raced A Grade. He inherited his Father’s race car in 2003 when Shane built a new car. Nathan was born to race; he quickly made his name known in speedway circles as a formidable force. In 2009, Nathan moved up to Modified Production Sedans.
