Mill Hall, PA | Oct. 16, 2017 - After some early season struggles and "almosts", 2017 has turned into a break out year for 37 year old Shaun Lawton. Lawton claimed his fourth Pro Stock feature win of 2017 Saturday night while traveling to Clinton County Speedway.
Shaun had raced Clinton County years ago in a 600 Micro Sprint, but this was his first time on the track in a stock car. The # 92 was fast off the trailer with Lawton charging from last place to win his heat. Shaun started 3rd in the Feature, took the lead on the green and never looked back, taking the checkers without a scratch on the car.
With three A-Main victories at his home track (Selinsgrove Speedway) and this one, Lawton closes his 2017 campaign and looks to carry the momentum into next year for a track championship!
