Team Dirt Dog's G&R Racing- Roger Rebholz Proves "Iron Man" Status in his 29th Season at Peoria Speedway

Sparland, IL | Oct. 23, 2017 - 51 year old Roger Rebholz is still kicking ass on the race track. Pulling double duty at Peoria Speedway with two cars at almost every race, Roger finished 2017 with a Feature Win in both divisions. Rebholz scored his first UMP Super Late Model victory in several years on June 10th and a UMP Modified feature win four weeks later on July 8th. On two occasions this year, Roger lost the power steering midway through the A-Main, but still muscled the car to a Top 10 finish. That's an IRON MAN!

This was one of Rogers most successful seasons since his track championship in a Modified several years ago. He finished 2nd in the track's Super late Model points behind 2017 Champion, Todd Bennet, and landed 6th in the Modified Division points. Roger also finished 2nd in the stacked, UMP Super Late Model Midwest Region.

Roger, his wife Beth, Cory Smith, Ma and Pa Rebholz and the entire team are charter members of Team Dirt Dog (since 2014) and shining examples of why we started the program. They bust their butts every week and always run up front against teams spending FAR more money while Beth religiously tends to their Dirt Dog Gear merchandise booth in the grandstands which helps fund their racing. We're very proud to call them friends and teammates.

G&R Racing would like to thank their 2017 Sponsors and fans!
